Fall Korea Women’s Football Championship to take place in Hapcheon, Gyeongnam

Held annually, this year’s Fall Championship will see 54 teams compete across four age categories for the last chance to win some silverware before the end of the 2025 season.

The Korea Women’s Football Federation (KWFF) has released the full schedule for the Fall Korea Women’s Football Championship (henceforth Fall Championship), set to take place in Gyeongnam’s Hapcheon County from 1st-12th November. The Fall Championship was first established in 2002 and includes four divisions: U-12, U-15, U-18, and University. The senior division of the tournament was discontinued in 2009 following the establishment of the WK League.

This year’s Fall Championship will see 54 teams from across the country compete in their respective age categories for the last chance to claim some silverware for this season. The University division will operate as a league with all teams playing each other once, while teams in the younger age categories will first compete in a group stage, with only some teams proceeding to a knockout competition.

The competition will take place at Hapcheon’s Citizens Sports Park, the same venue used for the Queen’s Cup in the summer. The county has hosted at least one women’s football tournament almost every year since 2008.
