Gangjin County Sports Council is looking for a new manager to lead Gangjin Swans WFC in the team’s first season since relocating from Changnyeong. It appears that Kwon Youngin, initially appointed to lead Jeonnam’s first WK League side, has stepped down from the post, although details remain unclear.
The sports council last week posted a job advertisement for the role, inviting applications from experienced coaches with excellent communication skills who are able to start work right away. Gangjin’s squad, vastly reshuffled since the team’s final outing as Changnyeong WFC, have been engaged in pre-season training in Gangjin since the club’s official re-launch at the start of the new year.
Gangjin is also hiring a new administrator to work behind the scenes at the club. As part of preparations for the 2026 season, the Swans last week launched an official Instagram page.
