Having beaten reigning champions Wuhan Jiangda in the quarter-finals, Suwon FC are now preparing not only for the start of the WK League season but also for their AWCL semi-final clash against North Korean side Naegohyang WFC. With both semi-finals and the final of the competition set to take place at Suwon’s home ground, Suwon Sports Complex (also known as Castle Park), the club is giving fans another opportunity to purchase their limited edition ‘Flower of Suwon’ AWCL kit.
When the club unveiled the kit last October, Suwon became the first WK League club to have a special uniform for continental competition. Fans had a chance to purchase these unique shirts prior to Suwon’s AWCL group stage appearance, and now, ahead of their semi-final in front of a home crowd, the club shop has opened up another pre-order window.
All four versions of the kit — home and away, field and goalkeeper — are available to order via the Suwon FC online shop for ₩129,000 each. Adding a name and number on the back will set you back an extra ₩20,000. Note that the Korean flag patch is included but it is not possible to add the AFC and AWCL sleeve patches. The pre-order window is open from lunchtime today (3 April) until 13:00 on Tuesday 7 April, with shipping expected to start in the first week of May.
