Mun Jinseo signs with Australian side MetroStars

26-year-old midfielder Mun previously played for Mungyeong Sangmu in the WK League.

Former Mungyeong Sangmu midfielder Mun Jinseo has signed with Adelaide-based club North Eastern MetroStars and will play for the club for the remainder of the 2026 Women’s National Premier League season.

26-year-old Mun made a handful of appearances for South Korea’s U-20 side while attending Uiduk University. She was accepted to join military team Sangmu (at the time based in Boeun) in 2021, and played for the side in the WK League until the end of the 2025 season.

Following her discharge from the army, Mun is making a fresh start with the MetroStars, a semi-professional club playing in the South Australia WNPL, in the second tier of women’s football in Australia. The club has won the division twice, in 2016 and 2020, but as yet there is no promotion and relegation between the WNPL and the A-League Women, Australia’s professional top division.
