The 2026 WK League summer transfer window is now closed, and there are only a few personnel changes to note. Here’s a quick overview of this summer’s activity.
The first signing of the window was Noh Jinyoung, who joined Gyeongju KHNP following her departure from military life and Mungyeong Sangmu earlier this year. KHNP subsequently also added Kim So-eun and Shim Hyojung to their roster, as both players return to the WK League from stints overseas.
Meanwhile, the club has bid farewell to Ko Dayeong and Kim Hyeyoung, both of whom have moved south to join Gangjin Swans after the expiry of their respective contracts in Gyeongju. The Swans have also added Kang Chaerim, previously at Montreal Roses, to their attacking line.
Song Jae-eun has left Gangjin following the end of her contract.
In non-WK news, upcoming talent Choi Hanbin last month agreed to a mutual termination of her contract with Montreal Roses. Choi is still in the process of recovering from an injury and has not played for the Northern Super League side since signing with them in January.
